Pros and cons of Spanish Book with Vocabulary and Audio app for iPhone and iPad

Spanish Book with Vocabulary and Audio app good for

I love this app! All I want is to learn words I can use. Phrases I forget instantly and conjugation rules and tenses and the minutia of language bore me to tears and I quit using programs that do this. With this app Thera a progressively more complex Spanish book you read. Before each chapter Theres an interactive quiz that remembers when you answer if you know the word or not. Then it presents you with new material based on you answers. As you read each chapter when you come across a word you dont know it takes a second to look it up and hear it spoken. Then I say of to myself 10 or 20 times and memorize that word. Back to the book. Reading the book is a payoff because of feels like progress and it is. Ive learned more Spanish on 4 days than I have in years. And for only 3 bucks. Other apps and programs get frustrating and seem so complex and I give up. With this one Im motivated by the reading itself. Great app!
This is probably the best non-classroom language learning method that I have come across. Im very quickly picking new vocab, and the text is very easy to understand. There are a few mistakes in the information, but it doesnt really detract from learning the language. Thanks for making this app! Its exactly what Ive been looking for! (also, please make a german version of this app. Thats the main language Im intetested in. =). )
There are mistakes as noted by other reviewers, but for $3 I cant complain. Here are some suggestions for improvements: Rather than having to search for the words in the dictionary manually, while reading the book, being able to highlight a word and jump directly to the translation, or even better, have it pop up temporarily within the book, would help not break the flow. Conversely, but less important, when browsing the dictionary or taking the learning quiz, being able to jump to the first occurence of a word in the book to see it in context (or being given a list of the first few or all occurences to choose which one to jump to) would also be useful. Gracias
Highlight for me is the library of 3,000 plus words with a clear pronunciation. Maybe it says in the description, but I "assumed" it was going to read the story, which it doesnt. What it does is gives you a set of words to learn for each chapter before reading it. The story starts out with ridiculously basic grammar, and picks it up a bit as it goes. Worth the loot that I shelled out.

Some bad moments

Please update your app asap, This is a very good apps exept for that it doesnt work with iphone v.3
Its not bad for 3 bucks but Im not really impressed with the text. Then again Im just learning Spanish so who am I to judge. The US does have more than 110 million people, though. I think we passed tha 300 million mark a few years ago... And they stopped writing México with a j (Méjico) some hundred years ago... May want to update that. I did like the learning module for separate words but there are some errors. Maybe do a second review? Its a really great idea as a learning tool; a great way to learn in a fun way but I would enjoy that second review to check for errors.
